Sports-themed Honeymoon

 

My husband and I are both huge sports fans. So, when we planned our honeymoon, we incorporated sports into our trip. The destination we chose was Australia.

​남편과 저는 둘 다 스포츠를 좋아합니다. 그래서 신혼여행 계획을 세울 때도 여행에 스포츠를 포함시켰습니다. 저희가 정한 신혼여행지는 호주였습니다.

 

First, we learned how to surf in Sydney. We had our first lesson at a quiet beach (which was) about an hour's drive away from the city center. For three days, we surfed until we were completely spent(=exhausted=tuckered out).

먼저 저희는 시드니에서 서핑을 배웠습니다. 시드니 도심에서 차로 1시간 정도 떨어져 있는 한적한 바닷가에서 처음으로 레슨을 받았습니다. 그리고 3일간 지쳐 쓰러질 때까지 서핑을 했습니다.

 

Next, we went to Cairns to try our hand at extreme sports. We tried skydiving, scuba diving, and rafting. It was an unforgettable experience.

​다음으로 케언즈에 가서 익스트림 스포츠에 도전해 봤습니다. 스카이다이빙, 스쿠버 다이빙, 래프팅을 했습니다. 정말 잊지 못할 특별한 경험이었습니다.

 

​Finally, we took in a tennis match in Melbourne. The Australian Open, a major tournament, was taking place during our visit. We were lucky enough to watch a match between Chung Hyeon of Korea and Serbia(썰비아)'s Novak Djokovic.

마지막으로 멜버른에서 테니스 경기를 관전했습니다. 저희가 방문한 시기에 마침 메이저 대회인 호주 오픈이 열리고 있었습니다. 저희는 운 좋게도 우리나라의 정현 선수와 세르비아의 노바크 조코비치 선수의 경기를 볼 수 있었습니다.​
