My Best Friend's Wedding

My older sister and I are four years apart. Compared to other sisters, we have always gotten along really well since we were young. We occasionally fought over clothes, just like most sisters do, but we knew each other so well that we would quickly make up as if nothing had happened.

In July of this year, my sister told me she had met someone wonderful and was getting married. I was beside myself because it felt like I was losing my best friend. I cried my eyes out, all alone. I felt empty inside, like my sister was leaving me. I had thought she would always be by my side.

But after meeting my future brother-in-law, all my sadness disappeared. Instead, I felt relieved. He acts tough but he's a big softie inside. In some ways, he's quite cute. He's a perfect match for my sister. I wish my sister and her husband a lifetime of happiness.
