Miracle Morning

 

I am a homemaker with an 11-year-old daughter. I wanted to use the early morning hours for personal development, so I've been waking up at the crack of dawn.

저는 11살 딸아이를 둔 주부입니다. 새벽 시간을 자기 계발하는 시간으로 활용하고 싶어서, 새벽 기상을 하고 있습니다.

 

I tried doing it on my own at first, but it was hard to stay motivated. So, I started participating in a group dedicated to waking up early. There are about 10 members. We take pictures of how we spend our morning(s,단복수 가능) and upload them to a group chat. If you pay a participation fee and succeed for 4 weeks, you can receive a convenience store coupon from the group leader.

처음에는 혼자 하다 보니 의지가 약해졌습니다. 그래서 새벽 기상 모임에 참여를 하게 되었습니다. 10명 정도의 멤버가 있는데, 우리는 아침에 어떻게 시간을 보내는지 사진을 찍어서 단체 채팅방에 올립니다. 참가비를 내고 4주 동안 성공하면, 모임장으로부터 편의점 쿠폰을 받을 수 있습니다.

 

I have some time to myself from 5:30 to 7:00. I mostly spend that time studying "입트영." Some members do morning yoga, keep a household ledger, or read and do transcription exercises. Just being a part of the group helps me stay motivated.

저는 주로 '입트영' 공부를 하며, 5시 30분부터 7시까지 나만을 위한 시간을 보내고 있습니다. 어떤 멤버들은 아침 요가를 하기도 하고, 가계부를 쓰기도 하고, 책을 읽으며 필사도 합니다. 이러한 모임에 속해 있다는 것만으로도 동기 부여가 많이 됩니다.

A: That's so early! I'm not a morning person, myself. 정말 일찍 일어나시네요! 저는 아침 잠이 많거든요.

B: I've been practicing the Miracle Morning routine these days. 제가 요즘 미라클 모닝을 실천하고 있거든요.

A: Oh, really? 아, 그러세요?

B: Yes, I wake up early for personal development. I even joined a group. 네, 일찍 일어나서 자기 계발을 하는 거예요. 저는 모임에도 가입했어요.
