Jane : It was great to see Mr. Jin yesterday being so active. 어제 진 선생님이 그렇게 활동적이신 것을 보니 참 좋더라.

Jack : I'll say. He's really keeping himself physically active. 그러게 말이야. 그분은 신체적으로 활동적인 상태를 유지하고 계시더라고.

Jane : ...and mentally stimulated, too. I'm really proud of him. 그리고 정신적으로도 늘 자극을 받으려고 하시고. 선생님이 정말 자랑스러워.

Jack : I think he's setting a really great example of aging well. 잘 나이가 드는 것의 아주 좋은 예를 보여 주고 계신 것 같아.

Jane : I guess it's never too early to start thinking about healthy aging. 건강하게 나이 드는 것에 대해서 생각하기 시작하는 데 지금이 결코 너무 이른 것은 아닐 거야.

Mastering Coffee

To me, coffee is like a friend I want to get closer to but can't work up the nerve to approach. I tried an iced Americano out of curiousity because people I know drink it at cafes. But it was way too bitter for me. I wondered how people could(혹은 why people would) enjoy a drink that tastes like oriental medicine.

Still, wanting to drink coffee, I trained my palate with caramel macchiatos('캐'러멀 마끼'아'토스). And by now, I've finally come to understand the true flavor of a cafe latte.

​

When I first visited coffeehouse chains, I used to order like I didn't know what I was doing. It's still not much different, but at least I can customize my order. I need to remember to order a tall, grande, venti, or trenta size without getting all mixed up.
