For the generation in their 20s and 30s, e-sports are just as popular as traditional sports. Reflecting this popularity, e-sports were included as an official event at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou.

2030 세대에게는 전통 스포츠만큼이나 e-스포츠가 인기가 있습니다. 이러한 인기에 힘입어, 제19회 항저우 아시안 게임에서는 e-스포츠가 정식 종목으로 채택되기도 했습니다.

 

The most popular game is "League of Legends(LoL)," an online game where teams of five players compete against each other in a virtual space. The Asian Games featured participants from 14 countries. Korea performed flawlessly, not losing a single set from the preliminaries to the finals. In the finals, they took down their rival, China, to win the gold medal.

그중 가장 인기 있는 종목은 '리그 오브 레전드(LoL)'라는 것인데, 5명의 선수들이 한 팀을 이루어 가상의 공간에서 서로 승부를 겨루는 오날인 게임입니다. 총 15개국이 참가한 이번 아시안 게임에서 대한민국은 예선부터 결승까지 한 세트도 지지 않는 완벽한 경기를 선보였습니다. 결승에서는 라이벌인 중국을 꺾고 금메달을 땄습니다.
