What remains unchanged as time passes? Memories fade, and youth diminishes, but the memories of shared moments seem to stay alive in their places.

시간이 흘러도 변하지 않는 것은 무엇일까? 기억도 변하고, 사람의 젊음도 변하지만, 함께한 순간의 추억은 그 공간 안에서 살아 있는 듯하다.

 

15 years after my honeymoon in Germany, I returned there with my children. The historic(historical 역사적인/historic 역사적으로 의미가 있는) buildings still stood tall, providing new memories to visitors.The children ran around, filled with curiosity, asking us if we remembered this and that.

신혼여행 때 갔던 독일을 15년 만에 아이들과 다시 가 보게 되었다. 역사적 건물들은 여전히 위용을 자랑하며 방문객에게 새로운 추억을 선물하고 있었다. 아이들은 호기심 어린 눈으로 총총 뛰어다니며 우리에게 이것저것 기억나는지 묻기도 했다.

 

Germany is a fine example of how the old and the new can coexist in harmony. Throughout its long history, it has preserved both the shameful events that must be remembered and its proud cultural heritage. Our recent trip, where the memories of parents and children merged into one, became an unforgettable and beautiful memory.

독일은 오래된 것과 새로운 것이 조화롭게 어울리는 법이 무엇인지를 잘 보여 주고 있다. 길고 긴 세월의 역사 동안 부끄럽지만 기억해야 할 사건들과 자랑스러운 문화 유산을 모두 잘 보존하고 있다. 부모의 추억과 아이들의 추억이 하나로 융합된 이번 여행은 잊지 못할 아름다운 추억이 되었다.

A: It must have been a wounderful trip. 정말 멋진 여행이었겠네요.
