Lightning Man

 

My sons grew up watching Lightning Man on EBS. They would dance along to the Lightning Man song and even wore Lighting Man outfits to their daycare center every day.

저희 아드들은 EBS의 '번개맨'을 시청하며 자랐습니다. 번개맨 노래에 맞춰 춤을 추고, 심지어 매일 번개맨 옷을 입고 어린이집에 등원하기도 했습니다.

 

Then, one day, we heard that Lightning Man was coming to perform in our area. The kids eagerly counted down the days until the show. The Lightning Man performance was amazing.The kids couldn't take their eyes off the stage. As an adult, even I found the performance to be very entertaining and deeply moving.

그러던 어느 날, 우리 지역으로 번개맨에 공연을 하러 온다는 소식을 접했습니다. 아이들은 번개맨 공연 날을 손꼽아 기다렸습니다. 번개맨 공연은 매우 훌륭했습니다. 아이들은 무대에서 눈을 떼지 못했습니다. 어른인 제가 느끼기에도 몹시 재미있고 감동적인 공연이었습니다.

 

After the show, all the actors came down to the audience to meet the kids in person. They greeted the children and took pictures with them. The Lightning Man show we saw that day will remain a cherished memory for a long time.

공연이 끝난 후, 모든 배우들은 아이들을 만나러 직접 객석으로 내려와 주었습니다. 배우들은 아이들과 인사를 나누며 사진도 찍어 주었습니다. 이날 본 번개맨 공연은 오랫동안 소중한 추억으로 남을 것 같습니다.

A: What characters did your kids like when they were young? 아이들이 어렸을 때 어떤 캐릭터를 좋아했어요?

B: My kids? They were huge fans of Lightning Man. 우리 애들이요? 번개맨 광팬이었어요.

A: Oh, really? My kids were, too. 아, 정말요? 저희 집 아이들도 그랬는데.

B: They would shout and cheer for Lightning Man whenever he was in danger. 번개맨이 위기에 빠질 때마다 소리 지르며 응원하곤 했어요.

A: Haha! That sounds really familiar. 하하! 저도 너무 익숙한 광경이네요.

B: I guess kids are all the same growing up. 아이들이 다들 비슷하게 자라네요.
