Nurse : Yes, perfect. Just hold it like that for a moment. I'm locating the vein. 네, 아주 좋아요. 잠시만 그대로 있어 주세요. 정맥을 찾는 중이에요.

Patient : Okay. It won't hurt, right? 네, 알겠습니다. 아프진 않겠죠?

Nurse : Don't worry. I'll make it as painless as possible. It'll be just a slight pinch.

Our family English Recitation 우리 가족의 영어 낭독

Every Saturday, I take some time to recite English with the kids.The children naturally started to take an interest in English as they watched me reciting it every day.

매주 토요일마다 저는 아이들과 함께 영어 낭독하는 시간을 갖고 있습니다. 제가 매일 낭독을 하는 모습을 보고 아이들도 자연스럽게 영어에 관심을 갖게 되었어요.

I recite stories from the "입트영" English textbook that I want to share with the kids. My eldest son reads English newspaper articles, and my younger daughter reads from picture books. I was pleasantly surprised to see the children preparing and practicing so diligently. The children's excitement and anticipation as they wait for recitation time are just adorable.

저는 입트영 영어 교재에서 아이들에게 들려주고 싶은 이야기를 낭독합니다. 첫째 아들은 영어 신문 기사를, 그리고 둘째 딸은 그림책을 낭독합니다. 아이들이 무척 열심히 준비하고 연습하는 모습에 저는 기분 좋게 놀랐습니다. 그리고 낭독 시간을 기다리며 설레어 하는 아이들의 모습이 귀엽기까지 했습니다.

After the recitation, we discuss which parts we found interesting or impressive. It's precious family time for us as we listen to each other's stories, think and empathize with each other. I believe that as we recite English as a family, our English skills are growing.

낭독이 끝나면 흥미롭거나 인상깊었던 부분에 대해 서로 이야기도 나눕니다. 이 시간은 서로의 이야기를 들으며, 생각하고, 공감할 수 있는 우리 가족만의 소중한 시간입니다. 영어 낭독을 가족이 함께하면서 저와 아이들의 영어 실력도 한층 성장하고 있다고 생각합니다.

A:I hold an English recitation presentation with the kids every weekend. 아이들과 주말마다 영어 낭독 발표회를 하고 있어요.

B: Oh, really? Do the kids keep up well? 아, 정말요? 아이들이 잘 따라와요?

A: Yes, they are surprisingly enthusiastic about it.네, 생각보다 무척 적극적으로 임하고 있어요.

B: You must be very proud of them. 너무 기특하시겠네요.

A: I hope they will cherish the memories of studying with their mom even when they grow up. 엄마와 이렇게 공부했던 추억을 나중에 커서도 간직했으면 좋겠어요.

B: I'm sure they won't soon forget it. 분명 오래도록 잊지 못할 거에요.
